Letter to Miss You-Know-Who.

It’s people like you who taint our image,

You see,

It seems to me like you have some newfound audacity to stand above and judge below

Like God Himself, you seem to know,

AS IF

You embody every perfect aspect of Christ

Judging the young, rather than helping them grow

Girls like me watching women like you for the things the world don’t show

You’re not the only one who can articulate, you know.

Actin’ like you aint hafta change, actin’ like you aint hafta grow,

Old folks say puttin’ on airs,

But long as I know 2 plus 2 is fo’, you & the rest of the cast can hit da do’

Ain’t. nobody. got. time! to be hee-hee-hawwin wichu,

Pretending to like you like I’m sure your friends do,

Sympathy I feel for those who choose to look up to you,

Learning to drive their noses North

& stare over that God- crafted bridge

Peering into my malleable soul,

And off the cliff you go!

You should know it, honey, I’m cold as a fridge

Cool as a cucumber,

That sip of ice water on a blazing summer day,

What exactly do you do without the cast and your crew?

I’m a lady so I choose not deal with the likes of you,

I swang my hips and do my do,

  1. Just thought you should know, I’m really not that into you.
