I REALLY cannot believe these mfs repossessed my car……

I woke up at 4:40 AM to the blaring signal of a car alarm. I couldn’t help but notice the oddness of two open parking spots right by my patio. When the mind fog cleared, I felt the clenching in my heart, and the twisting in my stomach. My mf car was gone…

I just got off the phone with the auto loan department a few hours before I went to sleep. After asking if there was someone I could simply borrow the money from, the rep warned me my vehicle was “actively being looked for”. I thought I was safe since the registration is at a different address. It was parked so obvious, too. Plates facing the street, RIGHT in front of my apartment building. Of all days I feared they would take it, and parked in other areas of the neighborhood, of course they took it today. I ran downstairs barefoot, titties flappin’, frantically pressing the buttons on my car remote. I knew it wasn’t there, but I just had to try. I didn’t believe it would get this bad.

The fact is now I’ll owe them even more money because it was towed SMH. I thought my first paycheck from the job I’m planning to start would be devoted almost entirely to rent- seeing as how that’s due today 🙂

My ex did cross my mind in those few minutes of panic. “If _____ was still here, he could take me back and forth for the time being..” AHT- AHT! You giving him too much credit!

I’m broke, not stupid. I wouldn’t be able to depend on him any more now than I could when we were together. Hell, he likely wouldn’t had even been here at 4:40 am for me to panic with. Every night, he was “trappin”. Meaning, he was doing whatever, wherever, with whomever while maintaining the lie that he was “getting money” for “us”. So he would have been two to three hours late to the party anyways.

The fact is, I’ve been doing the very best I can, and thanking God that I at least had my car as an asset to earn money in the meantime. Doing Lyft and delivery jobs to hustle up the money to avoid eviction was only possible because I had my car. So, I am grateful. Now that I don’t have it, I’m going to have to depend on others to help me get through. Everyday since I moved to this new city has been a hustle. With every baby step, hurricane-strength winds swing in with an uppercut from the west, and a gut punch from the east. I just wanna look better, do better, be better, and be honest. That’s why I keep getting up, and marching forward anyways.

Anything helps! Sis needs to get her car back!! I’m accepting donations via CashApp ($MochaLuvFly).
